Dear Eric,

You are just over 2 months old now and I can't believe how fast this is going.

I head back to work tomorrow…

Have to say, I am not in love with the idea…

Spending all day with you for the past 2 months has been the highlight of my life.  You are truly an amazing little human being and watching you grow is my favorite thing in the world.  Keep going, little boy! Life is about to get interesting for you!  So many things for you to look forward to in your life and so much ahead of you!

Mommy and Daddy love you so much and you have so many people in your lives that love you too.  Beyond words!

I think I fall in love with you more and more every day.  Especially when I tell you I love you and you smile and coo back.  You melt my heart…

Be a good boy for Miss Cindy (I know you will be) and know that I love you so very much.  Picking you up in the afternoons and spending the evenings with you is going to be that much more special now.

I love you baby boy.

Love,
Mommy

Eric is 2 months old...

Another month gone by and our little boy isn't so little! He is growing up right before our eyes and it is so exciting to watch!

Here are some two-month milestones and what he's been up to this past month:

{Weight}: 13 lbs 4 oz (90th percentile)

{Height}: 25 inches long (97th percentile! We have an NBA player on our hands!)

{Head circumference}: 40.5 centimeters (50th percentile)

{Chatty Cathy}: If they were words coming out of his mouth, he would probably be a comedian.  His little conversations are just adorable and he loves chatting it up especially in the morning.  He's got a lot to say and isn't afraid to say it!
Smiley guy
Look at those eyes...

{Sitting up}: He is able to sit up with support now.  We hold his arms and he is wide-eyed and straight up! He loves sitting up and facing outward so he can see all that's going on around him.  That baby-hold is for the birds!
Big kid
Genius even in his sleep...

{Tummy time}: Still not a big fan of tummy time, but getting better. He can do about 10 minutes now and that's due to the help of convo's, mirrors and toys.  He enjoys looking at himself, so stick a mirror in front of the pillow and he's game on!
play time after tummy time

{Sleeping}: We have had pretty consistent nights of 6-7 hours of sleep.  His bedtime routine is helping for sure (bath, bottle, "star-gazing").  He's usually out like a light about 30-45 minutes after bathtime and typically wakes up once in the middle of the night for a feeding.  Every now and then, we have a hiccup night of maybe only 4-5 hours of sleep, but we're on our way to some good nights!
This guy loves his car seat!

{People person}: He loves being social so anytime we walk into the room, he spots us and won't let us leave.  He's gets pretty vocal and fidgety and it is so cute how he is so aware of his surroundings and knows when we are near!

Life is so exciting with our little guy and the months to come are only going to get better and better! Stay tuned for some fun posts!

Eric goes to the Pumpkin Farm...

Rodgers Farms Pumpkin Patch sure did impress!  We had a beautiful time and the weather was perfect for a trip to the farm!  This is basically a photo dump, so enjoy!
