Baby E's Bucket List...
So since I'm home with Eric this summer (YAYAYAYAY!!! Excited mama right here!), I thought I'd come up with a to-do list of sorts so we can be sure to do some fun things this summer!
Eric is 8 months old!
So we are total slackers and didn't remember to take a photo for Eric's 8th month until he was already 9 months old. Luckily, I have tons of photos from my phone and the camera during his 8th month. Hopefully, we stop slacking off and pay attention. This little man keeps us on our toes all the time!
{weight}: 21 lbs. 7 oz.
{length}: somewhere around 29 inches
{head circumference}: somewhere around 45 cm
Some milestones during his 8th month:
{new words}: This kid talks up a storm (baby gibberish of course), but lots of words. He is so cute because sometimes he is definitely having a full-on conversation with one of the dogs or his toys.
{more new foods}: Since his front 8 teeth (8, I know!) are all in, he can chew on tons of stuff (including my phone and remotes). He has tried a lot of new stuff and likes fresh fruit and veggies along with his mum-mums and puffs. His pincer grasp has gotten a lot better too!
{big kid}: He still fits in a few 9 months outfits, but he has graduated to 12 months clothes. Mama's excited for summer clothes and (hopefully) less laundry. Eric loves being a diaper baby and that's fine by me!
{sleep}: He has decided that he doesn't like sleeping through the night lately. Almost every night, he wakes up for a feeding around 3 or 4 but then goes right back to sleep til about 7 or 7:30. No biggie...Daddy usually gets up to feed him (Thank you, Daddy!) and I wake up with him at 7 while I get ready for work. It's our special bonding time! :) Every now and then, he'll sleep through if he's had a busy day.
{making friends}: He is doing so well at the baby-sitter's. There are some older boys (3 and 4) and two younger ones (1 and 1 1/2 years old) and he is making friends so well. He wants to be just like them and it is so cute to watch him interact with them. They love him and he loves them back! I'm so glad he has such a happy place to go to while I'm at work. But I can't wait to spend the summer with him!!!
Well, expect the 9 months post real soon! I super PROMISE we won't slack this time!

{walking with help}: He is able to walk with a walking toy. He loves it and is so proud of himself when he does it.

Mother's Day weekend...
Our first Mother's Day was fantastic!
We spent the weekend at Deep Creek Lake with my in-law's for their anniversary as well as Mother's Day.
Eric had a blast crawling all over the place and on the boat. Enjoy a bunch of pics from the weekend!

Eric is 7 months old!
So today, Eric turns 8 months, and I am just now getting to his 7 month post. Mainly because things have been super busy around here!
So this one will be short, but with every bit of cuteness as usual!
{weight}: 20 lbs. 7 oz.
{Not sure of length but probably around 29 or so inches}
{Same on head circumference, but probably around 45 or 46 cm}
Milestones: crawling (he's the master and has been for about 3 weeks now), standing up (pulling himself up on everything and trying to balance; this kid will be walking in no time!), eating tons of new foods (favorites are still sweet potatoes and pears), a mouth full of teeth (he sprouted four more this month so we're almost at 8! YIKES!), still wearing 9 months clothes but I see him stretching out in a few weeks, lots of words like mama, dada, baba and other baby gibberish that is just so cute!
This month, Eric took a trip to his first museums (the science center, which he thought was pretty neato; and the holocaust museum, which he slept through to the end).
He also took plenty of walks outside and went to parks during the part of the month that was nice (yes, 70 degrees one day and snow the next! whew!)

Eric's First Easter!
So we didn't go all fancy for Easter this year, but the bunny did visit Eric!
