35 weeks (and 34 too!)...

So during week 34, we were mid-move, elbow-deep in boxes and junk! Sorry no post for 34 weeks, but I'll summarize: big, hot, sweaty, sticky and excited!

how far along? 35 weeks and 5 days.

size of baby? about 18 inches long (head to toe) and about 5 pounds (quite the little porker!)!

heartbeat? nurse said in the 130's so it's good!

total weight gain/loss? right around 27 pounds.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes and loving those dresses!

stretch marks? I have found 2 so far so cocoa butter every night!

rings on/off? off and I miss them a lot!

innie or outtie? total outtie!

sleep? doing okay.

best moment this week? moved into our new house! It was a hot day for everyone, but well worth it! Still have some stuff to get done and brought over from the apartment but it feels great to call this new place "home!"

movement? the moving is getting more and more uncomfortable.  He must be big in there because he's kicking and punching pretty hard now!  And he has definitely dropped.  Maybe not the whole way, but definitely a lot!
food cravings? sticking with ice cold anything, especially ice itself!!

gender? Little man Eric!

how are you feeling? caught myself a little cold, so I'm trying to knock that out (I am taking a 6-day course through the county and I have been in an elementary school during summer school hours, so I guarantee I caught it there.  ugh!) Other than that, pretty good!

what i miss: Mainly just sleeping on my stomach, chocolate, ketchup and spaghetti and meatballs.

what i'm looking forward to: Getting Eric's nursery put together and I can't wait to meet him!! SO VERY EXCITED!!!

32 weeks...

As you can see, still no bump photo.  Apparently this battery for the flashes is harder to find than we thought.  I promise we'll get a pic up as soon as possible.  I'm sure there will be a bunch from the shower this weekend too. ;)

how far along? 32 weeks and 4 days.

size of baby? about 17 inches long (head to toe) and about 4 pounds (quite the little porker!)!

heartbeat? nurse said between 140 and 150 so it's good!

total weight gain/loss? right around 23-24 pounds.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes and loving those dresses!

stretch marks? just a little on my belly button so cocoa butter is my friend!

rings on/off? off and I miss them a lot!

innie or outtie? poking out quite a bit now.

sleep? This past week was horrible but I went back to taking night showers so that is helping tons!

best moment this week? We closed on our first home yesterday! It was so exciting!

movement? moving around all the time..most movement is either when I'm hungry or right after eating.

food cravings? sticking with ice cold milk and iced tea.

gender? Little man Eric!

how are you feeling? The summer heat has begun so it's rough. Yuck!  I get winded pretty quickly too!

what i miss: Mainly just sleeping on my stomach, chocolate, ketchup and spaghetti and meatballs.

what i'm looking forward to: the Burgh for the shower and time with family and friends, officially moving into our house and meeting Eric! I can't wait to meet him!

Eric's Nursery

So we have decided on the theme for Eric's nursery.  We went back and forth between a couple contenders, but I love the final pick and I think Eric will love it too (once he can appreciate it...)!

So here are the contenders:

Safari Express from Babies R Us...it's cute but a little too babyish and not bright enough for me.  Ricky liked it best.

Animal Parade from Babies R Us...I liked this a lot until I couldn't find it anymore.  It would be good for a little girl if that would be our next...Ricky didn't favor this one too much.

After going through Babies R Us and registering for little blankets, there were some with little monsters on them and I fell in love!  Well Babies R Us carries Peek-a-boo Monsters theme and it was just too cute!

But....
after a google image search for monster nursery ideas to get better photos of the Peek-a-boo theme, I found a better idea! We wanted bright and a little more saturated than pastels from the beginning so this was just perfect! And not so babyish that it could be transformed into a toddler room with little effort!

Isn't it adorable!?  And I get to DIY a lot of the stuff! So excited about that!  The bedding is from Target and is called Geo Brights.  Love that it's pretty neutral and you can do almost anything with it.

I went to Joann's today to look at some fabrics that would be cute as curtains or pillows and found some cute things.

I like this one for a fleece blanket that I can make for little man.  It will be perfect!

This one is my favorite! Might be the winner!  We'll have to see after the bedding gets here.
So I don't want to give away too much as to what will be in the nursery...you'll just have to wait and see when it's all done! Maybe I'll give little sneak peeks along the way... ;)
