39 weeks...

We went to the harbor this weekend and Ricky brought his camera along.  These are probably the last pics you will see before Eric is in them too!  Enjoy!  I will do a 40 week post if time allows.  I could go into labor any day now so we shall see!

how far along? 39 weeks and 6 days.

size of baby? Head down, about 20 inches long, a little less than 7 pounds (estimated).  

heartbeat? right around 130 bpm

total weight gain/loss? right around 37 pounds, I gained 7 pounds this week.  Don't know how but I did!

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes and loving those dresses!

stretch marks? got a few on my under-belly....ugh!

rings on/off? off and I miss them a lot!

innie or outtie? total outtie!

sleep? doing okay, just getting up to pee. Restless legs aren't too bad.  Switching sides is not easy anymore so I try to stick to one and deal with it.

best moment this week? Had a nice weekend with mama and Ricky.  Walked at the harbor for 3 hours.  This morning at my appointment, I hit 3 cm and 75% effaced.  We scheduled my induction for Saturday at 5:45 am so we will have a baby by this weekend!!! yay!!!!!

movement? he is moving around still but slower and harder.  He doesn't have much room in there anymore! And he's sticking to one side.

food cravings? sticking with ice cold anything, especially ice itself!!

gender? Little man Eric!

how are you feeling? I'm done being pregnant.  Moving around is not easy at all.  Can't sit or stand for too long and when I switch, it's not easy! I am so anxious to get this over and done with and have my little boy in my arms!

what i miss: sleeping on my stomach, falling asleep quickly, spaghetti and being able to walk up steps without taking a break halfway up!

what i'm looking forward to: Meeting Eric this week! Oh, I am just super excited!!!!

28 weeks...THIRD TRIMESTER!!!

It's crazy to look at this one compared to all the rest...that little boy in there is doing some major growing!

how far along? 28 weeks and 5 days.

size of baby? the size of an eggplant and about 15 inches long (head to toe) and 2 and a half pounds! 

heartbeat? my last ultrasound read 153 bpm

total weight gain/loss? I think I'm about 20 total. I'll find out for sure at my appointment on tomorrow.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes and loving those dresses!

stretch marks? nope.

rings on/off? off and I miss them a lot! (now they hardly fit my pinky!)

innie or outtie? poking out just a tiny little bit on top; I will definitely be an outtie in the next few weeks.

sleep? sleeping is not so great...I can't get comfortable and I get restless legs and cramps in my legs right as I'm trying to fall asleep.  Still getting up to pee at least once a night and obviously tossing and turning because I'm not feeling rested in the mornings.

best moment this week? We went through a fun battle of counter-offers, but....WE GOT OUR HOUSE!!! We are scheduled to settle on June 28 so it's gonna happen fast! We're so excited!

movement? moving around all the time..most movement is either when I'm hungry or right after eating.

food cravings? sticking with ice cold milk...I love it and can't get enough of it!  Panera's tortellini is pretty tasty too! ;)

gender? Little man Eric!

how are you feeling? not too bad...hot and sweaty and swelling, hormones, and heartburn, but other than that I'd say I'm pretty good.  Ask Ricky, he'll tell you how I really am.

what i miss: Mainly just sleeping on my stomach, chocolate, ketchup and spaghetti and meatballs.

what i'm looking forward to: Ready to move in to our new house, get the nursery started, seeing my mama this week, meeting Eric, going home and being parents! (lots to look forward, I guess!)

24 weeks...

how far along? 24 weeks and 6 days.

size of baby? the size of an ear of corn...about 12 inches long and about a pound and a half!!  His face is completely formed, he has eyelashes, eyebrows and is sprouting some hair on his head!

heartbeat? my last ultrasound read 153 bpm; heard it today at my appointment and he is pumping!

total weight gain/loss? I checked in at 16 pounds total today at my appointment...16 pounds gained since my 7 week appointment.  I had my glucose screening today...that orange stuff that everyone complains about wasn't bad at all...it tasted like that orange drink that McDonald's used to give to kids at parties back in the day...I kinda liked it.  Results will be in on Friday!

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes.  The dresses are great and I'm so glad it's warm enough to wear them now...usually.

stretch marks? not yet. :)

rings on/off? off and I kind of miss them! :(

innie or outtie? poking out just a tiny little bit on top; I will definitely be an outtie in the next few weeks.

sleep? sleeping okay...switching sides throughout the night but not too bad.  This cold has been rough but not altogether terrible.

best moment this week? 1.  We started Eric's registries this weekend.  We did Babies R Us on Saturday, I started Target today and Ricky has been working on Amazon. 2.  Chose a theme for the nursery.  Love it and it is oh so perfect!  Peek-a-boo Monsters is the name and it is just adorable!

23 weeks...

I guess I'm really filling out! :)

how far along? 23 weeks and 5 days.

size of baby? the size of a grapefruit...about 11 inches long and a whole pound!!  Apparently he is growing nipples, his face is completely formed (minus baby fat) and he can hear Ollie and Tugger barking.  So cute!

heartbeat? my last ultrasound read 153 bpm.

total weight gain/loss? I think it's about 18 now; lost 2 pounds at the end of last week due to my overzealous nature at work.  Slowing down again, so I gained the 2 back.  I have my glucose screening on the 6th, so that's going to be fun.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes. 

stretch marks? not yet. :)

rings on/off? off and I kind of miss them! :(

innie or outtie? poking out just a tiny little bit on top; I will definitely be an outtie in the next few weeks.

sleep? just uncomfortable and switching sides throughout the night and back to getting up to pee; and a stuffy nose at night time and in the mornings.

best moment this week? drove around some neighborhoods looking at houses yesterday...feeling good about our options! Eric's nursery will soon be here!

movement? moving around like an acrobat in there and throughout the day.

food cravings? Love my ice cold milk...definitely my one consistent craving.  Heartburn is crappy when I eat any tomato-based foods.

gender? IT'S A BOY!

how are you feeling? Feeling good and getting bigger every day!  Feet hurt after a day of walking around with some back pain, but not terrible overall.  Fatigue is sneaking its way back into my life too.

what i miss: Mainly just sleeping on my stomach and cute summer shorts.

what i'm looking forward to: ready to buy a house, start the nursery, go home again, meet Eric and be parents!

22 weeks...

Sorry, no photo this week.  We have been insanely busy and I just realized that it's Monday night! So we'll take a photo for 23 weeks! (You'll get two in a row!)

how far along? 22 weeks and 6 days.

size of baby? the size of a papaya...about 10 inches long and almost a whole pound!!

heartbeat? my last ultrasound read 153 bpm.

total weight gain/loss? I think it's about 16 now.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes. 

stretch marks? not yet, but definitely an itchy belly :)

rings on/off? off and I kind of miss them! :(

innie or outtie? poking out just a tiny little bit on top.

best moment this week? We're 100.1% sure on the name we chose.  We've been feeling out Eric Scott and it's the one!

how far along? 20 weeks and 5 days.

size of baby? the size of a banana...about 8 inches long and 10-12 ounces!

heartbeat? my last ultrasound read 153 bpm.

total weight gain/loss? I officially broke the 10 lb mark...I have hit 11 pounds.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes. 

stretch marks? not yet.

rings on/off? rings came off this week.  I tried taking them off to put cocoa butter on and  it was next to impossible and pretty painful.  So they're off for good.

innie or outtie? poking out just a tiny little bit on top.

sleep? just uncomfortable and switching sides throughout the night; and a stuffy nose at night time and in the mornings.

best moment this week? I guess it counts as this week: being home with all the family and seeing everyone! It was so nice! Also, no work for the week was nice.  I literally sat around and relaxed.  It was great!

movement? lots of moving around this week; mainly in the evenings but sometimes throughout the day too.  So cool!

food cravings? loving pretty much all food.  I find heartburn gets worse when I eat a lot of sugar and tomato-based foods...so not too much candy!

gender predictions? IT'S A BOY!

how are you feeling? Feeling good!

what i miss: Mainly just sleeping on my stomach.

what i'm looking forward to: Ready to get started on ideas for the nursery, ready to meet our sweet baby boy, and ready to crack down on a name for the little guy (we have an idea but just feeling it out a little longer)!

18 weeks....and gender reveal!

We had our 18 week ultrasound on Wednesday! It went really great and was shorter than I expected.  Little baby moved around a lot but is doing great!  We told the tech that we wanted to know the gender so she tried her darnedest to get a good shot, but the baby wasn't very cooperative.  She finally got under the little bum and....tada! There it was!

We are so excited and can't wait to get everything in order for our sweet baby boy! (We just have to work on a name...)

16 weeks...

Sorry so late...we're procrastinators around here...

how far along? 16 weeks and 6 days.

size of baby? my book says about the size of an avocado, 4.5 inches long and weighs about 3 ounces...a sweet little baby!

heartbeat? my PA said it was in the 150's...she thinks it's a girl! ;)

total weight gain/loss? I found out at my appointment last Monday that I am gaining just fine! I am up to 143 so that is about 8 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight!

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes. Can't wait for spring and summer so I can wear long dresses! :)

stretch marks? not yet.

rings on/off? rings are still on and getting kinda tight.  (thank you, weight gain!)

innie or outtie? getting flatter everyday.  kinda weird ! :P

sleep? sleep is iffy and probably will be for the next 18 years...I am waking up at around 1 am every night with restless legs and needing to pee.  Thank goodness I have a great hubby to rub my legs in the middle of the night! :)

best moment this week? 1: felt the baby move last week!! It was amazing and so cool! I have been waiting for so long for it and I was teared up and loving it! I can't wait until I can actually watch it move and Ricky can feel it! 2: ultrasound is set for March 20 so we'll find out the gender!!! Excited!!

movement? see above!

food cravings? still craving those cheeseburgers (and usually I don't get to fulfill that craving, ugh!) and chocolate (especially peanut butter filled chocolate).

gender predictions? I really really think it's a boy...I just hope we're able to choose a name for a boy if it is!

how are you feeling? I'd say I'm about a 9.  Feeling good lately and the dizziness stuff isn't too bad lately.  I can't stand up too fast or else I see stars, but other than I'm good!

what i miss: Lately, fast food and sleeping on my stomach.

what i'm looking forward to: I hit the 2nd trimester, so I'm definitely looking forward to getting my energy back.  March 20 is going to be great! I just hope the baby cooperates and we see what we need to see! Headed home for Easter at the end of the month, too!!!

14 weeks...2nd TRIMESTER!!!

how far along? 14 weeks and 4 days! (2nd trimester is here!!)

size of baby? my book says about the size of a lemon .  

total weight gain/loss? still only at about 6 pounds, although my bump is looking more pregnant than bloated now.

maternity clothes? yes, yes and yes. Can't wait for spring and summer so I can wear long dresses! :)

stretch marks? not yet.

rings on/off? rings are still on (not this week tho; in for a prong straightening).

innie or outtie? still an innie, but looking kind of funky...definitely a pregnant belly button.

sleep? sleep is getting worse...I toss and turn a lot to get into a comfortable position since I can't sleep on my stomach...gosh, I miss that!

best moment this week? talked to my mama this week for a good while and we get to see her next Friday!! YAY!!

movement? nothing yet, but I'm waiting for it ever so impatiently!
